Dora is an internal audit, risk, and AI governance executive with more than 15 years of experience across technology, financial services, banking, and advisory environments. In her current role, she leads risk-based internal audit strategy and provides executive-level oversight across enterprise risk, governance, internal controls, regulatory compliance, technology, and emerging risks.
Prior to Bismoni, Dora led global assurance and risk innovation initiatives at Amazon. Her work included AI governance and assurance, model and technology risk, M&A due diligence, and the development of governance and assurance frameworks for blockchain, digital assets, and other emerging technologies.
Her broader experience includes IPO readiness and SOX 404, enterprise risk management, audit transformation, and advising executive leadership and Boards on complex risk and governance matters. Dora also speaks on AI, regulation, governance, and independent assurance, with a particular focus on modernizing risk and audit functions for an increasingly AI-enabled environment.
Dora will participate in the peer-to-peer session, “Real-Time GRC: Moving from Periodic Audits to Continuous Monitoring.” The discussion will examine how financial organizations are evolving their approaches to audit, risk, and compliance as business and technology environments become increasingly real time.
Participants will explore how organizations are implementing continuous monitoring and automated controls to identify and address risk more proactively. The conversation will also provide an opportunity to share experiences and examine tools that can support more continuous approaches to compliance and oversight.
